What we do
The Early Intervention Service provides treatment to people who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
Who is it for?
Adults in the Cwm Taf area between the ages of 18-35 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
Can anyone use this service?
We accept referrals from any source. We are open Monday – Friday, 9:00am- 5:00pm.
What to expect?
The information gathered from our Early Intervention Team will help determine the type of psychosis you are experiencing, its possible causes and the best way of helping you. Treatment may be recommended either on an outpatient basis or in a hospital. Treatment usually consists of medication and psychological interventions.
